I love Soul Eater because none of the main characters dress like they’re going to the same place.

none of these people are going to the same place

I don’t know anything about this show but from left to right it’s:

  •  Hot topic employee who’s pushing the dress code, even for hot topic
  • 14 year old going to his first beatboxing competition
  •  Guy coming back from a cyber goth rave
  • girl heading to an anime convention
  • emo 13 year old being forced to go to his uncle’s wedding
  • sisters signed up for square dancing class by their overly enthusiastic parents

welly-boot:

I don’t think a lot of people in the Voltron fandom understand why people are so annoyed by this whole ‘reboot’ situation.

Nobody is saying you can’t make AU content if you don’t like how canon went. You’re well within your rights to do that. The reason people are pissed off is because you’ve spent a week shitting all over S7 because you didn’t get exactly what you wanted and have been harassing the showrunners and VA’s to the extent they were told to stay off social media and have had to plead with the fandom to calm down, and now have the audacity to make a self proclaimed reboot to supposedly ‘fix’ canon because you’re so entitled you act as though you know the narrative better than the writers and act as though the writers owed you something.

Like if you want to make AU’s about Kl@nce by all means go ahead nobody is saying you can’t, but your attitudes towards this whole reboot thing and how you’re going about it fucking stinks and that’s why it’s pissing people off. If you’re taking “you can’t make AU’s” from people being pissed off about a self proclaimed reboot from people who have been trashing canon and shitting on the cast and crew and who radiate fan entitlement then you’re missing the whole point.
