Tumblr’s definition of queerbaiting 90% of the time the term is used is fundamentally just “the fans interpreted this dynamic as romantic/sexual despite the fact the writers never meant it as romantic/sexual and if the writers don’t make it canon they’re queerbaiting because we clearly know the narrative better than them” like that’s literally not what queerbaiting is that’s just fan entitlement and y’all not being able to differentiate between your HC’s and actual canon
