The garrison flashback scenes in S7 pretty much confirmed what I’ve thought all along about the ‘rivalry’ Lance always said he and Keith had which is that there wasn’t actually a rivalry. It was a one sided thing from Lance which pretty much came down to the fact that Keith was naturally a very good pilot and was quite cocky to begin with, and Lance was largely jealous of the fact Keith was as good as he was. He therefore made out like he and Keith were rivals and always ‘neck and neck’ to pretend he was a lot better than he actually was. He wanted to feel like he was on Keith’s level despite clearly not being due to the fact he was put into cargo pilot training before Keith left the garrison. Keith had no reason to have a rivalry with Lance as during the time at the garrison Lance was clearly nowhere near as skilled when it came to being a pilot. Lance obviously had a lot of built up bitterness towards Keith due to how effortless he found flight training and his general attitude towards the whole thing and he channeled that into this self-made rivalry to try and squash down the insecurities he had because he was nowhere near as skilled as Keith was at the time.

Kl/ance was never going to be canon y’all just convinced yourselves it was, and Shiro is still LGBTQ+ as a single man they never said Shiro and Adam were going to get back together. A character doesn’t need to explicitly be in a relationship to be LGBTQ+. Y’all literally don’t seem to understand what queerbaiting is

We knew Adam for two whole minutes and he was a bitch and everyone be acting like Shadam were soulmates. Like? If I was following my dreams and my partner told me ‘Don’t expect me to be here when you get back’ … I mean, like good riddance. Like what was so great abt Adam? Why is he everyone’s golden boy and Shiro’s one true love? Explain? Show your work?
