mirio, hawks, dabi wanting their s/o attention when they are occupied by something else?
Mirio
•He’s probably not going to bother his s/o too much or be a pain in the ass about it. If they say they’re busy, or if they even just look like they don’t want to be bothered, he’ll leave them be
•But he mayyyy get a little persistent if he thinks something is wrong. Like, if they’re stressed and overworking themselves, then he’s going to intervene just to make sure they know that he’s concerned
•Yeah if they’re reading a book or something he’s definitely phasing through the book right up into their face. He’ll use his quirk any way he can. Whether to make them laugh or just accidentally annoy them. It’s pretty useful for that
•If that doesn’t work, he tones it down and just slides up next to his s/o to ask what’s wrong, and if there’s anything he can do to help
•If not, and they just need a little cheering up, he’s clearly more than capable of delivering
Hawks
•He’s so annoying omg
•Usually he’s pretty good about leaving his s/o alone since he gets annoyed when they interrupt him, but sometimes he’s just bored as shit and can’t help it
•He’s probably prattling on about something, then realizes he’s only getting little one word distracted replies like “Oh.” and “Wow.” Or just “Hm.” And he’s like. Really.
•Shoots feathers at the back of their head until they pay attention (not the lethal kind ofc)
•Just flies around them like a damn vulture
•And probably tries to entice them into doing something fun by suggesting they go out to eat or grab some drinks. Anything that he thinks might grab their attention. He’s manipulative with it too. He’ll just suddenly *remember* that his s/o’s favorite ramen place is having a special and suggest they get some for dinner (it’s probably not true but whatever he’ll think of a lie when they get there)
•Or obviously if they’re busy because they’re struggling with paperwork/homework/whatever, he’ll ofter to help. He usually wouldn’t. He’s very much a “Do your own work” type of guy, but if he’s craving some attention then he’ll do anything to clear up his s/o’s schedule
Dabi
•His way of grabbing his s/o’s attention is just irritating them tbh
•He asks them invasive questions, says shit like ‘Hey, moron. I’m talking to you.’ Throws shit at them
•He honestly gets a little angry if they’re clearly not in the mood to give him attention. He’s not clingy, and doesn’t often need attention from his s/o. But when he’s bored and just wants to talk, he’s not going to settle for being ignored
•He definitely gets up in their personal space until they notice. Even after they notice, he’s still there hovering on purpose, waiting for them to give up and give him the attention he’s expecting
•He gets a little flirty, too. He’s usually a little deviously flirty with his s/o when they’re alone, but if he’s trying to distract them, flirting and sweet talking is the way to go
•Honestly he probably satisfied himself enough by messing around with his s/o that by the time they’re not occupied anymore and paying him attention, he’s already off doing something else
Can someone please tell me this was a pair that was trying to do the death spiral that mating birds of prey do, and somehow in the process they ended up stuck on a road sign.
Because if it is, this is definitely one of the funniest “Okay, maybe we WERE a little bit over our head when we started this…” moments.
I doubt it. One of these birds is a juvenile (the top) while the other is an adult (bottom). The juvenile would have no interest in mating.
Honestly when I see hawks doing stupid stuff 9/10 times its a harris hawk—this seriously just looks like one of those stupid hawks time. They are one of the only social raptors, so this leads to some funny things, like
Stacking
The harris hawk argument for stacking is “your back is less Pokey than a cactus so imma use it”
Not even falconers are safe…
They even hold hands
Please, what are you doing harris hawks, learn how to hawk
yeah if it was literally any other bird I would be worried but the Harris’s Hawk is just Like That.
they’re social goofballs who hunt cooperatively in family groups and they’re basically just airborne wolves.
