Well, the antis wanted a “kids only” fandom space, right? With the banning of adult content on tumblr they’ve pretty much got it. Wholesome and badass

The father’s artistic talent is clearly on display here, but I’m actually really impressed with this kid’s wild imagination. Many of his drawings are both conceptually unique and coherent.

tbh hands down, my favorite writing in all of homestuck definitely has to be dave strider’s character arc. like. the insufferable hipster prick we knew for years slowly realizing that his ironic detached coolguy persona is actually a defense mechanism in response to years of physical and emotional abuse and that he’s actually a talkative person who craves attention and affection as a result of severe neglect, struggling to deal with his PTSD triggers over the course of the game, revealing his self esteem issues, “im not a hero”, confronting and overcoming his ingrained homophobia by coming to terms with his own bisexuality and obtaining an alien boyfriend, and reconciling with his brother in the most touching and satisfactory way i’ve ever read. i love dave strider and i’m glad he turned out the way he did and i’m glad there’s a character like him. favorite human kid 2009-forever amen.
