Anyway, just on general principle, if someone thinks it’s “disgusting” to value the lives and safety of real children over fictional ones, I recommend staying FAR the hell away from them and encouraging others, especially minors, to do likewise.

At best they’ve talked themselves down a philosophical blind alley and are likely to vector any piece of inaccurate, dangerous fearmongering that presses the right emotional buttons. At worst they’re trying to create distractions for their own predatory behavior.
