Why Snape is not redeemable: Even after the woman he claims to love dies as a direct result of his prejudice, Dumbledore still has to blackmail him into fighting for the right side. AND he abused children just because he could.
Why Draco Malfoy is redeemable: He chose to openly defy the wishes of his family and Voldemort in order to save Harry’s life, AND THEN married a witch who was actively against blood supremacy so his son would never grow up how he did.
