Uh huh… Some important nuances that are getting missed:

1) There is a difference between heterosexuality/heteroromanticism/a het orientation and Straightness as an oppressor class. Because Straightness is defined by those most privileged in the system, and certain things exempt people – even people who are exclusively attracted to the other binary gender – from having full access to the privileges of the system or are required to face erasure for conditional acceptance.

2) Het aces, like how gay aces are gay, are indeed het. But they’re also ace, and that’s not insignificant. That’s not unimportant. That is something – a whole orientation – that isn’t accepted under heterosexism. Just like other LGBTQ+ and queer identities.

Feeding your animals (safe) but new-to-them foods is botha great source of enrichment for the and endless hilarity for you. I reccomend green beans because they’re unwieldly for them to eat so its an involved process.
