THE COCOAPUFF GIRLS

So about this project. For awhile now I’ve noticed almost every single time I see a darker skinned black woman “going viral”, she’s half naked, oiled up, and/or sexualized in some way shape or form. It’s very rarely ever “Look at this amazing dark skinned woman who accomplished this thing.” Or “Look at her smile, she’s gorgeous”.  Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying. There is nothing wrong with darker women and black women in general being free and expressive about their sexuality and provocative features. BUT that is NOT ALL they are. They are so much more than sexual beings, but for some reason, that seems to be almost the only thing that grabs viral appreciation. So here’s my attempt to have darker skinned black women go viral for just being cute, creative, stylish, bubbly, beautiful, and black. Aside from the videographer EVERYONE involved in this project IS A BLACK WOMAN. I hope you guys like it. I ask that if you enjoyed this and agree with my objective, share it with a few people please.

tbh the amount of “”discoursers”” who can’t even properly DEFINE asexuality or aromanticsism beyond “they don’t fuck!!” “they don’t kiss!!” is very telling. Yall couldn’t be more transparent if you wrote the words “THE INTERNET IS A SAFE PLACE FOR ME TO BE THE BULLY I ALWAYS WISHED I COULD BE” on ur fucking foreheads.

Was it good? I saw it didn’t get very good reviews…

If I have learned anything about Critic Scores and Reviews, is that movie critics are mostly pretentious assholes so I never really base my interest in watching stuff on what they have to say. I go watch things I have interest in watching, period.

Audience scores are way more sincere, and you’ll notice that Bohemian Rhapsody has great audience scores.

I personally loved the movie and was incredibly moved by so much of it.

Also, do you guys remember seeing posts about the movie many months ago claiming that they were going to erase stuff about Mercury’s sexuality??? Outraged posts telling you not to support it or go watch it? Which wasn’t the case at all?? It’s so bizarre because I’ve seen this happen to A LOT of movies on social media, as in, being shut down for “bad rep” and “problematic” stuff before they even come out??? And then when they do come out a lot of people aren’t willing to give it a shot because “I HEARD this and that bad thing about it”

Fuck that noise. and fuck movie critics. do yourself a favor a go watch this beautiful film.

Same. Those “fans” are so fucking entitled. It’s just a cute little themed event they do every year but he was too busy with other projects and was too fatigued. They seriously can’t go one year without Ghoul Grumps?

Mmmmmm I’ve been thinking abt gender and stuff and I think Genderqueer is actually a better fit for how I feel abt myself in that regard. I understand non-binary is under the genderqueer umbrella but they’re not exactly the same thing and I dunno? Everything I’ve been reading abt GQ just? Makes so much sense? NB used to but GQ just feels closer now for some reason?

At the same time tho? I’m rly confused bc? I don’t know how gender is supposed to feel? I don’t understand feelings like that. To me, gender seems more like something you do than feel. Like gender is something you express but I don’t know what feeling that need for expression is supposed to come from? You feel sad so you express it thru writing and crying and stuff, you feel angry and you express it thru beating up a punching bag or killing things in a video game. What does gender feel like???? Where does this need for expression come from?? Dhdjdhrlwjdksks??????

On a semi related note, I wanna ask the person who made my gaara icon to make another with the GQ flag instead but I don’t wanna bother them lol. But I don’t wanna change my bio from NB to GQ until I have a new icon so I’m kinda stuuuuuck uuuuuugh
