Shiro’s boyfriend left him when Shiro needed support the most, saying that he couldn’t support him if he was going to risk so much.
But Keith supported him in everything. He supported him flying into space with the Holts. He supported him being their leader of Voltron. He gave himself to the leadership position like Shiro wanted. He never stopped searching for Shiro and when Kuron lost control to Haggar, Keith was ready to die with him if it meant saving him.
Keith proved to be there for Shiro when the most important person in Shiro’s life even wouldn’t.
Thats not a brotherly relationship. You can say what ever you want, but no matter what that is not a brotherly type relationship ship. That’s real ass love.
(and this applies to what ifs that are abt some of the most immoral-in-real-life things you can think of and then some. and that’s ok too. fiction is for exploring darkness and immorality bc you realize that those things are bad irl so you keep them to fiction so no real human will be hurt. it’s human nature to be interested in the taboo and the disgusting. it’s normal to wonder abt those things and fiction is perfect place to engage in that curiosity bc it doesn’t require the harm of real ppl, so it’s completely safe. fiction and fanfiction are for any and all what ifs.)
