Part of me is ‘how the hell does someone end up that brainwashed and completely self-hating?’ another part of me sort of pities them. I imagine it’s up to the person making the map. But maybe the more dice in a single spot, the more mountainous or forested the area. Maybe choose a few dice to be deemed cities, and some dice for ruins.
Maybe let the dice choose, like a nat 20 would be the world capital, and 10’s would be mountains or something like that.

Like, all hyperbole aside, don’t @ me about how fiction can guide your mindset. Believe me, I know. Consuming certain pieces of media and thinking about them has helped to make me the person I am today. But the argument that consuming less-than-pure content (and pure according to whom?) is inherently harmful to “young, impressionable minds” is exactly the same bullshit that book-banning, fundamentalist types have been spewing for decades.
