If you are a Fujoshi/Fudanshi, you are

A bad person.

Sick and disgusting.

Homophobic.

Itemizing and fetishising gay relationships.

THERE IS ONLY ONE DEFINITION OF THE TERMS FUJOSHI, FUDANSHI, AND YAOI. DON’T CHANGE THEM TO PROVE A POINT TO SOMEONE.

YOU SHOULD

Be ashamed to be a fujoshi/fudanshi.

Be scared to be part of a fandom.

AND IF YOU ARE A FUJOSHI/FUDANSHI

You deserve to piss your pants.

You are a horrible human being.

If you are NOT a fujoshi/fudanshi, and are mlm/wlw

💖💖Have a wonderful day you valid babe💖💖

Anyway fujoshi and fudanshi are great 💖💖💖💖

Make your own post and leave me alone 💖💖💖💖

Nah 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

If you aren’t Japanese and you decided you are the arbiter of a different country’s culture, you are

A BAD PERSON

A RACIST

BORING

If you think men who read m/m fiction are somehow fetishizing themselves, you are

HOMOPHOBIC

SICK AND DISGUSTING

Anyway, when will racists shut their fucking mouths? No one invited you to consume and colonize our culture.

haedonistic:

How the fuck did we get from

  • ‘let people identify in whatever way works best for them, TRUST people to know themselves, respect self-knowledge and personal freedom’

to this fucking cretinous

  • ‘you’re only allowed a very small selection of IDs because the rest are ~cringe~ and we need to make ourselves look Good and Acceptable for the Precious Majority Population’

i hate when anti-fujoshis are like ‘quit ignoring gay men when they say you’re fetishizing them!’ and i’m like?? i do listen to gay men?? but the gay men i listen to are saying it’s okay to like yaoi content. maybe you should talk to them instead of fujoshis?

i mean i don’t think staright men are fetishizing us when consuming yuri content. i dont think staright women are fetishizing us when consuming yuri content. because!! they don’t even know i exist!! they like jacking off to fiction women that hurts no one!! that’s no where near fetishizing real lesbians or thinking all lesbians are like what’s portrayed in yuri.

Do you have brain worms?

ima block you because you seem toxic. have a nice night i guess

I don’t know, @trucute, do you have an actual argument in place of weaksauce insults?

People who fetishize LGBT folks or support that fetishization don’t deserve “actual arguments,” they deserve to be mocked and kicked out of the community. Fujoshis and fudanshis can rot.

Not providing an actual argument proves that you are wrong and do not know what the fuck you are talking about. “Fetishise” is a meaningless buzzword, if you condemn fudanshi then you just told actual gay men to “rot”, and you have no business using a word if you can’t pluralise it correctly.

If condemning people who fetishize lesbians is apparently telling “actual gay men to rot” then gay men can rot lmao

Thus you prove you don’t know what you’re talking about. Fudanshi are men who read male/male fiction, not female/female.

No instant insult, I see. If you can’t get even something that basic right, you have no business in this discussion.

Not just gay men – but any man that reads and enjoys m/m romance stories.

Maybe listen to Japanese-speaking men in fandom and not tell us to “rot”. Homophobes that are against m/m told us that we should rot, and that we’re ruined for enjoying mlm fiction – that’s how fujoshi (and fudanshi) came up as terms in the first place.

In Japan, fujoshi and fudanshi just mean “woman / man who is a fan of mlm romance fiction”. That’s it. The definition never had anything to do with “fetishization” –  It was actually homophobic, transphobic TERFs who appropriated fujoshi from the Japanese language to mean “female that fetishizes gay male relationships”…which for them is actually a dogwhistle for gay trans men. They actually started the current anti-fujoshi discourse as a campaign against trans mlm. [Sources here and here]
